How Dog Breeds Came to Be

I didn’t choose to be an Akita I was born this way. Just like every other dog, shaped not just by love, but by purpose.
Long ago, humans began shaping dogs to fit their needs: some to guard, some to herd, some to hunt, some just to be companions.
That’s how breeds began. Through careful selection over generations, dogs were bred for size, strength, coat, instinct, and behavior.
Every breed was created to serve a role but every dog is born to give love.
So whether we’re fast like Greyhounds, strong like Rottweilers, or tiny like Pomeranians, just remember: behind every breed is a heart that simply wants to belong.
