Hachiko Talks About Samoyed
Some dogs seem to smile at the world the Samoyed is one of them.

Originally bred by the Samoyede people of Siberia, these beautiful dogs were used for herding reindeer, pulling sleds, and keeping their families warm during freezing nights. Over time, their famous smile and affectionate nature made them beloved companions everywhere.

Samoyeds are medium to large dogs with a thick, fluffy, double coat always white or cream. That sparkling white fur isn’t just for beauty; it protected them from harsh Arctic winds.

But it’s their personality that truly shines: friendly, gentle, and social. They love being part of family life and often get along well with children and other animals.

Samoyeds are intelligent and eager to please, though they do have an independent streak. Training should be positive and consistent. They also need plenty of exercise long walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. A bored Samoyed can become mischievous.

Their famous coat requires regular brushing to prevent mats and keep them comfortable, especially during shedding seasons.

Health wise, Samoyeds are generally healthy but can be prone to hip dysplasia, heart issues, and certain eye conditions. Good diet, regular grooming, and vet care keep them at their best.

Litters usually have 4 to 8 puppies fluffy, cheerful little clouds from the very first days.
