Hachiko Talks About Labrador Retriever
Some dogs are born to work. Some to play. And some like the Labrador Retriever seem to be born for both.

Labradors are one of the most popular dog breeds in the world, and it’s easy to see why. Originally bred in Newfoundland to help fishermen retrieve nets and fish, Labs later became valued hunting dogs and even more valued as loyal companions.

Strong, athletic, and full of life, Labs are known for their friendly nature. They love people, children, and often even other animals. Their eager to please attitude makes them highly trainable, and their intelligence lets them excel at everything from search and rescue to therapy work.

They have a short, dense, water resistant coat usually black, chocolate, or yellow (ranging from pale cream to deep golden).

They thrive on activity. Long walks, games of fetch, swimming a Labrador needs both physical and mental stimulation every day. And of course, they adore spending time with their families.

Health wise, Labradors are generally strong but can be prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, obesity, and some eye conditions. A balanced diet, portion control, regular exercise, and vet care keep them in great shape.

Litters usually have 6 to 10 puppies full of energy, curiosity, and love from the start.
