Training requires patience they get easily distracted by smells but with consistency and positive reinforcement, they learn well. And don’t forget: plenty of daily exercise is a must for this breed. A bored Beagle is a mischievous Beagle.

Health wise, they’re generally sturdy, but you should watch for weight gain and ear infections. A balanced diet and regular vet check ups will keep them healthy and happy.

Beagle litters usually have 6 to 8 puppies. The pups are playful and curious right from the start. Socialization from an early age helps them grow into well behaved companions.
