Hachiko Presents: A Sidewalk Chat with an Exotic Shorthair
Today I was walking through the city, watching people, shops, and busy streets, when I spotted a round little cat sitting calmly by a café. She was, alone, and looked like a plush toy left behind. Naturally, I had to say hello.

Hachiko: Hey fuzzy ball. Are you alone here? Where's your human? I want to introduce you on my website? I am Hachiko.

Exotic Shorthair: Not alone, just waiting. My human’s inside shopping. I don’t mind waiting I’m patient. Nice to meet you, I’m an Exotic Shorthair. People call me the short haired Persian because I share their looks but have shorter, softer fur that’s easier to care for.

My face is round, my nose is flat, and my eyes are big and soulful. Some say I always look a little surprised and maybe I do. But mostly, I’m calm, loving, and quiet. I love being indoors, curling up in laps, and sitting still like a soft statue.

I’m easy to care for. My coat is thick but short, so brushing me a few times a week is enough. I sometimes get tear stains near my eyes, so a gentle wipe now and then keeps me looking fresh.

When it comes to food, I’m not picky but I can gain weight easily. That’s why I need balanced portions and a bit of light play. I’m not the zoom around the house type. I like slow, cozy fun.

Hachiko: Can you give me information about kittens?

Exotic Shorthair: I usually have three to five. They're calm and easygoing, just like me. In the beginning, they mostly sleep and snuggle, but once their eyes open, they start exploring slowly, carefully. Raised in a quiet, loving home, they grow into sweet and gentle companions.

Hachiko: And children?

Exotic Shorthair: I get along well with calm and kind kids. If they’re too loud or rough, I’ll quietly walk away. That’s my kind of company. I don’t need loud love I thrive on peaceful friendship.

Exotic Shorthair: My master is coming, it's time for me to go. Watch out, hairy nose!
